Infusing city life with Tibetan culture is at the very heart of the Amala Pala Concept Store

What pops in mind when you hear the word "Tibet"? Yurts, Yaks, and some very high mountains? That classic vibe is something many Tibetans actually don't live.
In 2024, we wanted to shake up that cliché. The Amala Pala Concept Store blends city life with Tibetan culture. It’s a new approach to keeping Tibetan culture alive.
The joy of living a city life is what keeps us close to each other. The drive to represent Tibet is what unites us.

Our name
Amala Pala - "Amala” (Tibetan for mother) and “Pala” (Tibetan for father) reflect who we do this for: moms, dads, their kids and anyone seeking to bring more meaning into their lives. Because when you’re raising the next generation, a sense of responsibility deepens.
Concept Store - Our concept store is born from the desire to bring Tibetan culture into everyday life. We offer thoughtfully designed goods that connect tradition with modern life.
Our products
Our products are inspired by the rich tapestry of Tibetan culture. They reflect the colors (codes), language and symbols of Tibet. We design with broad appeal in mind, so Tibetan culture can travel far and wide—used, loved, and seen by all.
A core element of our brand are the sun rays. Why? 1. They're a central part of the Tibetan flag, one of the most iconic symbols of Tibetan culture. 2. The sun stands for warmth, life, happiness, and clarity—qualities we want to share with the world. 3. Maybe unexpectedly, those rays speak to a surfer vibe we’ve somehow always carried with us—no explanation needed, just something that feels right.
